বিজ্ঞানের দৃষ্টিতে মৃতদেহকে কবর দেওয়ার ঠিক 24 ঘন্টা পরে মানুষের শরীরের ভিতরে এমন পোকার উৎপত্তি হয় যা মৃতদেহের পায়ু দ্বার দিয়ে বেরোতে থাকে। তৎসহ এমন দুর্গন্ধ ছড়ায় যা সহ্য করা অসম্ভব। আর ঐ দুর্গন্ধ পোকার সমগোত্রীয় পোকাদের নেমতন্ন দেয়।
দুর্গন্ধ পেয়ে সমস্ত পোকা, মাকড়, বিছে মানুষের মৃতদেহের দিকে যাত্রা শুরু করে আর সবাই মিলে মানুষের মাংস খাওয়া শুরু করে দেয়।
কবরস্থ করার তিনদিন পরে সবচেয়ে প্রথমে নাকের অবস্থা খারাপ হতে শুরু করে এবং পচন ধরে যায়।
ছয় দিন পরে নখ খসে পড়তে থাকে।
নয় দিন পরে চুল খসে পড়া শুরু হয়।
মানুষের শরীরের সমস্ত লোম ঝরে পড়ে আর পেট ফোলা শুরু হয়ে যায়,
17 দিন পরে পেট ফেটে যায় আর শরীরের ভিতরের সমস্ত অংশ বাহিরে বেরিয়ে আসে।
60 দিন পরে মৃতদেহের শরীরের সমস্ত মাংস শেষ হয়ে যায়। মানুষের শরীরে একটু টুকরো মাংস অবশিষ্ট থাকে না।
90 দিন পরে সমস্ত হাড় একে অপরের থেকে পৃথক হয়ে যায়।
এক বছর পরে মানুষের শরীরের সমস্ত হাড় মাটির সঙ্গে মিশে যায়।
আর যে মানুষের মৃতদেহ কবরস্থ করা হয়েছিল তার সমস্ত অস্তিত্ব মুছে যায়।
অতএব আমার ভাই ও বোনেরা বলুন -
মানুষের এতো অহংকার, এতো আত্মগরিমা, এতো হিংসা, এতো বিদ্বেষ, এতো লালসা, এতো নাম, এতো শৌর্য্য, এতো সম্মান, এতো শক্তি, এতো সামর্থ্য, এতো ধণদৌলত, এতো ক্ষমতা,এই বাদশাহী কোথায় যায়?
সবকিছুই মাটিতে মিশে যায়।
মানুষের অস্তিত্ব বা কি আছে?
মাটি থেকে সৃষ্ট, মাটিতেই কবরস্থ হয়ে, মাটিতেই মিশে যায়।
5 ফুট, 6 ফুট, 7 ফুটের মানুষ কবরে চলে যাওয়ার পরে তার নাম, চিহ্ন মুছে যায়।
