I was born in Old Delhi, brought up in Chandnee. Father was from Amritsar and mother from Kashmir. Studied at Don Bosco School. I had no hobbies outside of sports since childhood. I used to play volleyball, cricket, football, hockey.
Falling in love with a girl, I started learning martial arts to get her attention. Later I discovered that I fell in love with martial arts more than the girl!
After passing secondary school, I told my father that I want to go further with martial arts. Baba also took great pains to fulfill my wish. He collected money little by little and sent me to the bank. Learned karate there for five years. Learned martial arts, learned Thai boxing. And learned to cook.
I realized that in order to survive in jewelry, I either had to learn to cook, or learn to 'not eat'. I chose cooking.
After that I went to Kolkata and worked there for a while. I went to Dhaka and worked there for a while. I used to work in a hotel in Dhaka. I used to work in a travel agency in Kolkata. I also did business.
I used to buy jewelry from Delhi and sell it in Bombay. Do you know Kundan jewelry? It was very popular in Bombay then. Suppose I bought jewelry worth Rs 20,000 from Delhi and sold it for Rs 30,000 in Bombay. Also taught martial arts to some kids. Monthly income was not bad. The father of one of my students said one day, 'You are quite tall and handsome, why aren't you modeling?'
I did not know what 'modelling' is! Neither my parents nor family had any idea about it. So the gentleman said, 'Come, I will arrange everything'. I went one day. Had a two-and-a-half hour photo session in the AC room, got good food. At the end of the day he handed me a check for 21 thousand rupees and said, 'You can go'. I said, 'Well, the work is done!' He said, 'Yes'. I'm surprised! I work for five hours a day, and at the end of the month I may have five thousand rupees. And they gave 21 thousand in two hours! I did a special job! I thought, wow, I'll be a model then. Started sending pictures here and there, walked the ramp. This went on for several days.
Suddenly one day someone offered me to act in a film. I still remember it. At 6:30 in the evening he gave me a check for Rs.5001. I was signed to act in three films.
Working in the industry requires building a portfolio. I made a big portfolio by taking many pictures. So I went to Mumbai's Juhu beach to take pictures. Seeing a very nice bungalow there, I asked the doorman, can I go inside and take some pictures? The doorman agreed. Because the bungalow was one's personal property. I was forced to stand near the door of the bungalow and did the photo session.
A few days ago, while looking through old photos, I discovered that the bungalow in which I was not allowed to enter, now I live in that bungalow. (Translated from the Internet)
We all know that if there is a will, there is a way. So if there is no other way, the only way is to 'find a way'. For example, if you want to become a photographer, you can work as an assistant to a big photographer in exchange for teaching work. If you know the work, the opportunity will be created. Even if you don't know how to work, an opportunity will be created but that opportunity will not be of any use. That's why the best strategy is to wait for the opportunity with the best preparation. But first decide exactly what you want to do. Decide on a particular branch of work you want to specialize in. Expert means expert in a particular subject Achieving world-class skills in a specific job. Even the number one chef in the world does not know all kinds of cooking. So do not run here and there. You won't achieve anything in the end if you go on a date. Those who know a thousand ways to success are ultimately the most unsuccessful.
Once a fox and a cat were sitting in a field talking.
The subject of the story was the dog; Caste enemies of both. Fox is a distinguished scholar, he used to say that,
Look at the dog, but I don't have much of a headache. Because I know at least 100 formulas to escape from dogs. The cat was saying-
Brother I can climb a tree at once - I know this formula.
In the middle of their discussion, a group of dogs chased them. So the cat, knowing a formula, without wasting a moment jumped up the tree and sat down.
And the fox began to think that any of these 100 formulas can be used now - while thinking this, the fox was caught.
The lesson of this story:
Those who know 100 ways to success are often caught like foxes!
'Choose an idea, make that idea the ultimate goal of your life, think about it, dream about it, live that idea. Let the brain, the muscles, the nerves, every part of the body be filled with that idea, and forget everything else. This is the path to success'.
- Swami Vivekananda
So choose a path, which will be your path to success. However, some things must be considered very seriously in choosing the path to success. Success does not mean how much money you own?
Success does not mean how many degrees you have?
Or what is your occupation or rank?
Legendary Hollywood actor Jim Carrey said- 'I think everybody should get rich and famous and do everything they ever dreamed of so they can see that it's not the answer.'
- Jim Carrey -J
'I think everyone should be rich and famous and be able to do everything they've dreamed of all their life so they realize that's not really the solution.'
A mobile phone with so many features remains mostly unused.
A valuable and fast car doesn't need much speed.
Most of the expensive buildings like palaces are lying empty.
Most of the clothes in some people's closets are never worn.
Most of a lifetime's hard earned money is actually for others. So it is better to protect and take full advantage of the remaining 30%. (collected)
How many of the most successful people in the world can you remember?
Currently five richest people in Pathibi.
Best Actor Oscar winner in the last ten years.
Winner of the Miss World pageant in the last five years.
Last Ten Nobel Laureates
Last five World Cup winning captains.
You may not remember most of the names. None of the above is an ordinary achievement, they have all won the awards by showing excellence in their respective fields. But yet we have forgotten their names or felt no need to remember them.
Now try to remember the names of some common people-
Name three teachers in your school life.
Name three friends who helped you in an emergency. Name five people who have taught you important lessons in life.
Think of the people to whom you will always be special.
Name five people you love to spend time with.
simple Got all of them.
Yes, those who bring positive change in our lives are often not very respected people, they may not have much wealth, rewards. But still we remember them all our life. Because they care about us, they worry about our danger. To us, they are more special than the most successful, famous, rich or handsome people in the world. Being something special is more important than being famous.
So what does success mean?
Success means being or getting what you want to be or have, which gives you a feeling of happiness, satisfaction or fulfillment.
Two things are very important here
Number one is you
What matters most is what you think.
